| Hi, I believe VW oil pressure switches fit, but when the red light shows your OK when it doesn't, your in the ****, as in reverse. However by the time your oil light warns you it's to late anyway,as in it's time for a rebuild! Which ever switch you fit! I might be wrong,but i think the only thing the oil pressure light can warn you about, is a failing oilpump(or drive to it) or worn Bigend shells, either way the motor will have to be stripped. If you carry on rideing the motor will start to "knock" shortly followed by a rod popping out to say hello.........GAME OVER!......The works racers have no switch fitted because they are rebuilt after every race, I think the oil light is an idiot light to stop the average owner from throughing a rod and thus totalling the motor.
