Lets hope they get it right this time or its bye bye Ducati....

I think what will sell it or not is the power to weight, I for one have spent alot of money making my 999S into the bike I want, like most of us, and will not spend any more if the new bike as standard can't out perform my 999S by some way,
so if Ducati do read this stop mucking around with 1100 this year and in two years time making it a 1200, do it now and get ahead of the japs and it will sell.
Remember the new R1 with it's new engine is out next year and the GSXR will be all new the year after as will the rest,
this bike has to be 4 years ahead and not one year behind,
as for looks the 999 is alot ahead of it's time and I think will be the bike we all remember in 20 years time when the rest catch up,
if you kept the same looks as the 999 it would make me happy but I under stand why Ducati think they need to make a bike that does not stand out as the last time thay did look what happened,
we have the press and the 916 crowd to thank if it looks like a Fireblade.
