Whats security like where ya park the bike at work?

What about a monster, maybe I just notice 'em more in the smoke but ya see quite few about.

No cake and eat it option in the vote? Keep the car and buy a bike as well!!

Ray.

I don't want to deal with the flaking cases on a monster and the inevitable break down of it from riding it through winter ... The KTM is more durable and you can walk up and start it, treat it like poo, pressure wash it even! I've posted on the KTM forums and it looks as though there haven't been too many issues with them - nothing to be too concerned about certainly.

Unfortunately at this stage I can't afford a car and a bike ... but to be honest, the car club option looks much better to me anyway.

Fairey snuff, consider me greenhouse in need of some replacement panes

Car club looks interesting option, for occassional car use.

Ray.

Well, I've decided to buy the KTM.

However, I've also decided that I can't afford to do that just now so I think I'm going to get a CB500.

The beauty of that is if I choose next year I can take WJB on at his own game, and get whooped likely! But it would be a giggle

Thanks for all the comments.

Too much money Mike, and it would disintegrate through winter!

Run my multi through 2 winters 42,000 miles no problem. Pressure wash once a week. Spray with scotoil protector. Hard luggage for shopping etc much better than a car. Go on Tony you know you want to.

You've made the right choice, buy the KTM as soon as you can, you won't regret it.
