Yes this option is the best, ESPECIALLY if the bike is tall. Try it, you put your knee on the seat and 'pivot' your bent knee on the seat which means your boot is in the air, and a swift over you're on, no scuff marks, and for bikes like the multistrada where it's a tall bike anyway but the pillion seat is higher, most people have to do that to get on those anyway!

Try it.... It's also worked for my shorter female friend who had trouble swinging her leg over the bike was always afraid of kicking it over the 'wrong' way, she's found it a great help.

i saw a girl at box actually getting on a bmw, she had to move it to the kerb by exit, and then hop on her bike with knee pivoting, but i wondered then, as she rides out, (which is up hill there isn't it?) what if she has to stop to give way to traffic, there are no kerbs there, and i did think perhaps then was a little dangerous...

Cambers are always grief too. When I had my 900 monster, I had 2 inches taken out of the seat so I could touch the floor comfortably. That's why hats off to Valentina! Respect lass

Yeah I've got a friend who's done that too. She and another friend have also got those Daytona boots which no one can tell they've got inside 3/4 inch step up on heel, which helps.

Luckily with Ducati's most of the seats become narrow at the tank end, so more people can ride them, but not many bikes if they don't do that, give us much option!

Yeah. On the Monster previous to the last one, we put the pre-load down but that just made the damn thing bounce all over the place fun but scarily out of control
