45mm is perfectly good up to about 115hp.

For 120hp+ you need the 50mm

unless i was mistaken i thought it said it was a 45 system.
does anyone know if this system releases anymore power

It releases more power at the top end, allows it to rev further and sounds much better. You will also need an FIM or similar chip.

I thought the 45 mm is the best thing for a 851/888.
On ebay germany there is a 50mm collector, but that is for a 926!
You can put it on your 851/888, but you won't get that much advantages.

Hi, the size as in 45/50mm is more to do with the lift,timeing and size of the exhaust valves, than the capacity of the motor. The 926 would be running bigger valves and latter full race cams, i think.

Well ive taken a gamble and bought the old T8 a new exhaust system whether it will work well with the strada engine road time will tell.
it will make winter more interesting as it needs polishing and fitting and a dyno run will give me a true wheel BHP figure something the old girl has never had.
