Frank, since the swingarm mounts onto the engine and the engine is essentially the same then I think it would fit.
The mounting point is further back and this is why the SSIE shock is slightly longer. I don't know whether winding up the preload can make up for this but I'd have though an IE shock could be easily sourced.
Don't know about the axles though.
