Why don't they have a seperate championship for people that "deserve" to win, and those that add up a points tally to "actually" win! It is a points championship after all, so if a rider is unlucky to get injured/crash etc and miss races so be it.....

it's a team sport and if the bike's a pile of shi*te (relatively speaking) then it's down to others in the team to fix it.
he got it fair and square.
