Suppose it's an issue if you use it on track days though... as you'll be changing gearing even little things like tyre profile will have a far greater effect on the handling due to the eccentric compared to a standard swingarm.Also be a bugger for anyone who wants to aspire to the full blown version... how many people buy a base model then bling it up to look like the top model or race bike?

Been a lot of that with the 999 anyway John-people changing the earlier cast swingarm for the later formed one.

Single sider is great for track days, far less effort changing the rear wheel, the staff don't get their hands mucky messing with the chain, spacers, spindles, brake calipers and such like

???? Guess you've never mucked about with the ride height tools then Ray??? Takes longer to set that up than swap a wheel believe me, I know from a WSB level speaking to certain riders who had snapped single sided swingers and the hassle getting the goemetry right after swapping wheels/gearing/tyres it's not that straight forward.

You guessed right..........just enjoyed the easier turning as the ride height increased as the chain gets tensioned up or when new tyres have gone on
