Cracking tip with grips is GT85, it's a lubricant I use on push bike chains and the like - but believe me there's no way you can budge those grips. Have used this stuff for years and never had a grip slide off or twist around the bars.
oh yeah spray the bars and the grip liberally and just slide on, 5 minutes and they won't move. When you come to remove them, or if you havn't sprayed enough and they stick halfway on, just slide a thin screwdriver up the grip and spray in the GT85 and off the grips pop easy as you like.
