If its one of the ones with balls and ramps, its a good idea to keep a very close eye on plate wear. I had one of the Ducati Corse ones, and let the plates wear down a bit to much before having it serviced....started off a bit graunchy, ended up very graunchy because the balls escaped out of the top of the ramps and wreaked carnage in the basket. I've now got a very nice Ducati Corse paperweight
