"Keep it real"

I have actually rode a bike with 176 BHP and You cant keep the furkin thing pointing in a str8 line!!!!
and when you do it just leaves long black lines down the middle of the road!!!

really enjoyable to ride on the road, My ar55e!

"power is nothing without control" hope the new Duke puts it all down on the tarmac propper! cause if it dont your gonna be on ya ass!!

ps my missus looks like kate Moss when I'm pi55ed and squinting !!
The 916 is iconic and will never be replaced
Like the 92 Fireblade it was a bench mark !

cant be replaced and never will look as good , thats what has made it what it is !!

Only just a Monster owner but aint the bike just a 999 with a single sider and a different fairing Ducati have totally lost their way on this, as one who has always dreamt of owning a 999 but due to physical limitations has not been able to have one I feel that the forward thinking of the 999 has been destroyed by the die in the wood 916 brigade who would still have us wearing flares and afro hair styles. Obviously going to be one hell of a bike but definately a retrograde step in my opinion.

Well I like the way it looks from the pictures, but will reserve judgement until I see it in the metal. I won't be buying one mind since I don't see anyway of putting panniers on it................

As for other things stated, Mav has it right on the button, I remember reading something written by a 'ring instructor some years ago where he stated that for 70% of the 'ring you can't use more than 45bhp. He used to kick most people's butt using a 500cc Gilera Saturno which has 45bhp-at the crank-so about 37ish at the wheel. Now I have a Saturno and it is flat out at about 110 so it's not a fast bike-Power is Nothing without Control!

Martin, you coming to Cadwell for the trackday next year?-missed you this year mate, dates are 20th and 21st August.
