And of course, no i'm not saying you can't have fun on a 748 but only on a Jap 1000..... However.... i'm not like so many on here totally closing my mind to the possibility that Jap bikes can give everything a Ducati can (and more IMO).

As for the Market forces and prices.... well if i were to be harsh, that's because Ducati are Iconic machines, and their label is what people pay for, not the performance or the bike.
