171kg on the 'S' version-so how light will the 'R' be??
Don't forget that Ducati tend to quote a true weight and BHP whereas most others tend to work out the number and add at least 10%. Think of Yamaha with the R6 and it's '17,500 rpm' redline when in actual fact it 'only' revs to 16,000. They had to refund quite a few owners in the US over that one-false claims and all that.
Frankly with 173/171 kg weight, 160bhp, 90ftlbs of torque, and Ducati handling it's going to be a belter.
Now I wonder if I could fit one of those engines into the ST...............
