What can YOU do for the DSC in 2007 ???

I was going to title this thread - what do you WANT from the DSC in 2007 but, I feel some answers will be along similar lines so, I decided to rephrase the question.

OK - ground rule - NO POLITICS !!!

I know the AGM, constitution and DD are all serious issues within the DSC but, I want to think positive and try to generate new ideas and gauge the response of the new members perhaps?

Ok - what will I do for 2007?
1) Well hopefully, plod away being webteam helper and start to put together a proper information resource (Ducati help area / Q&A) type area that I think the site badly needs - for starters.

I HAVE A FEELING I'LL BE ASKING FOR 'HELPERS' MIND !!!

Experts - perhaps, in each Tech forum area to help sort through threads.

2) Continue to work under Eamonn's expert guidence to improve the website and suggestions are ALWAYS welcome:

Email: webteam@ducatisportingclub.com

Things I'd like to see / do for 2007?

Get to more meetings and ride outs - especially Raid The Lakes, that I was gutted to miss previously.

DSC - Cadwell Trackdays - superb and I'll take days off from work to get there again in 2007 and hopefully make it more than the only TD I do next year!

Go to more DD rounds in 2007 - should be even closer than this year.

Buell owners meeting - enjoyed this much more than I imagined I would so its already a "must-do" event in my calendar already.

MotoGP - I'm also sad to admit that I never got to a MotoGP round that had the current bike configuration, so thats lost forever now I guess - so I need to make amends for '07 and the 800cc class - foreign round would be nice.

WDW'07 - personal ambition - timing looks good so far and its just something I'd love to do once in my life just to soak up the atmosphere, if nothing else!

Enough rambling anyways - time to turn the floor open.....

Regards - Frank

PS - I forgot, I would like to see / arrange a dedicated SS/SL/851/888 mech porn meeting sometime next year as well.........Nelly !!!!!

I'll be on the DD grid.
I'll propose to help keeping a DD web standing up to date.
I'll write one article more than in 2006 for Pronto.
I'll try to meet with the Surrey guys a lot more than in 2006.
I'll represent the DSC (not on my own) for an endurance race in France by the Ducati Club de France.

Continue to encourage involvement in the Hampshire Region and the DSC as a whole.

Arrange ride-outs to other regional meets and also ride-outs like the ones in 06 - Mystery Ride - Seaside Run etc.

Organise the Popham Mega Meet (if it doesn't clash with the DSC trackday in 07)

Attend the DSC trackday at Cadwell (do both days this year )

Support DD and go to as many of the races as possible.

Return to The Nurburg Ring with Mav in the Spring with other DSC'ers

Would like to see more emphasis on the website/board and Pronto on Grass Roots Regional stuff - photos - reports etc.

Hants - Meet Popham Airfield every 2nd Sunday of the Month @ 1pm

Enjoy the club, its members and the banter and if I can help anyone along the way, or be of service to anyone, then that does it for me.

I go along with these.

MotoGP at Donnington Park in the DP hospitality area was good.

WDW 2007 would be brilliant, as would a mech meeting for the SS / 888 brigade.

One final thing would be a register of all the Superlight and Sport Production models, Senna's etc. I know there's an independant SL register, but not sure if one exists to cater for the others.

Info such as broad location, bit of history, production number, mods and a photo would be good.

That's my 2P worth, anyway.

Cheers
