On the road a couple of years ago on my 748 there are two small roundabouts either side of the A27 joined by a bridge so just a couple of 'laps' to warm the sides of the tyres and away you go .
On the track all the time when i was club racing wish i'd kept the knee sliders .
could get the pegs and my knee down at the same time round Riches corner at snetterton , corners were easy but both times i raced there it holed a piston on the straights !!

900SS May 2005 at my local roundabout,500 yards from my house.Palm Court roundabout for anyone local.Shaped like a kidney. The north end exit A6 for Matlock is the ideal spot with good visibility and a choice of turn in points.

Had to do it really as i was of to France the next day and i couldn,t bear to go with 8 other riders and being the only one who hadn,t done it. Turned out 5 of them were coppers,2 bike cops and they never budged there arses a inch. They really couldn,t understand why i kept going round and round every roundabout grinding away.

like to touch down a few times every road ride more as a confidence thing than anything else.My local quick fix route has a few corners that i know well as well as roundabouts that get a scraping but its more showing of than speed and it feels good so why not.

On track and racing in DD it is essential ideally at every corner.HAnging of makes the bike feel better and more stable and as soon as your knee is down you no there is not much more lean angle to play with. Its then a queston of lifting your knee up a bit.Brilliant feeling and should be eperienced byeveryone who rides. Fastest spot in the uk would be the left hand part of Craner curves i guess. About 115mph on a DD bike!

Body posistion is the key followed by a fast hard turn in. Get that sucker over!
