Yes, MCN said they were a bluey colour but I thought they were dark grey. Anyway, does that matter, surely if you're having an S you're gonna stick termi carbons on? I saw the pipes today in Motorapido, awesome, little allen key bolt to remove the baffles, bloody light as well!

Now that's a considerate touch - the allen key baffle removal. That is listening to real world riders and making something for them.

Having read the artical, they (the designers and people involved) are really giving the 999 a load of stick, unjustly sometimes...

I personally dont think the 999 is that bad, after Troy won WSB 06 on it.

The 1098 is a seriously sexy bike though...and the S is the one to have...
