Hum.. my local dealer has a demo bike has had it since last weekend.

Spoke to Moto Rapido this week who are getting their demo in next week with deliveries just afterwards and also said that Ducati UK are delivering 1098's to deposit payers only and are asking for names and addresses prior to releasing any stock.They've sold loads already so best make youre mind up quickly i would sugest.

a friend of a friend ordered one last week and was quoted march for delivery, so hopefully that means they are selling well

was in looking at the 1098 again in my dealership today they told me Ductati still does not have a demo version in all dealerships (as far as i am aware no UK dealership even has its demo version yet and only 6 dealerships in Germany have one at this time) and that no private purchase orders will be filled untill at the earlest Feb 2007 the only way an order could be filled would be if the dealer let his demo version go, cant see many doing that

I've been told next week for demo bike at Motorapido and sometime in January for delivery of my and my mates 's' models.

But it comes when it comes, if it's late jan to early feb i'll wait for march 1 new reg but if it's early jan and teh weathers ok i'll be racking the miles up!

i went to the ducati factory at the weekend, they have 1500 1098's to be shipped out by christmas, the guy who did the tour said the waiting list was 40days, but is more like 50days due to the high demand

Chichester CMW demo bike arriving tomorrow (Tuesday) have got another one coming that is sold. so someone is right in that they're selling quick, and other ones will be arriving January and people are queued up with paid deposits, should all be sorted by feb.
