Enduro Africa Photos

We had a film crew following us around and this is their site, so if you click on the 3 galleries you can get an idea on what it was like.

When I get my films back I'll put up some of mine.

We were all told by Mike Glover at Donnington at the day of champions that it would be an awesome adventure and maybe even life changing, of course I did not believe him, I told him so at the end of the ride how wrong I was, can't wait to do it all over again.

Met some great guys and we are looking at doing some riding in maybe Morrocco as a reunion.

The beaches were down what was called the wild coast, it ran up the east coast of South Africa, we stopped one day at Jeffries Bay which is a surfers paradise so we were told.

Randy and wife were there for the whole trip, each day he would ride with a different group, the day you see a few pics of him and a few other riders with some school kids by a fence that was when he was with our group.

We all had to raise £4000 to go on the event, at the end of it the bikes we rode were then shipped to Riders For Health in Zimbabwe to be used by health workers.

With this years quota and the ones from next years they will have equipped every health worker with a motor bike.

Barry Coleman from Riders came out to spend the last few days with us, we were informed that quite a few other African countries were interested in what they were trying to do and wanted to get onboard.

At the end of the trip loads of us donated a fair bit of our equipment to go with the bikes to Zimbabwe, we were then told by Randy that Alpinestars were donating a pair of boots for every bike.

The only major company to do anything that we were informed of.

I think the only easy photo to see me in, was me at the left hand side of the pic wearing an orange top and I was looking down, my moment to show off my good side was lost.
