AlJazeera English on the box in the background, if not that then Planet Rock (just like Fluff Freeman would play).

Plus a compilation CD I got from my sister years ago. Some real obscurities there!

I work with a chap called Chris Rock. Haven't called him Sergeant yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Blimey... I used to be able to play all the bass lines on "Fish Out of Water" but I haven't heard the album for about 30 years

And the band that I used to play with in my early twenties used to do all our own stuff except for two cover versions - "Every Day" from Spectral Mornings and "In the Dead of Night" from a little known band called UK

The vinyl I had of these is long dead - I'll have to get the mp3's

Ah yes, UK. I have some stuff taped, unfortunately the last working cassette player in my house packed about over a week ago. I believe I have Danger Money plus a bootleg from Cleveland, Ohio (if I recall correctly). I may even have some more hidden away somewhere, I'll have to check.

I wish I played bass guitar - the idea of blasting out the intro to "Hold Out Your Hand" when you're feeling fecked-off really appeals to me
