I assume this is for your 996S, right?
There are two kinds of carbon fibre oil catch tanks; a large one (58510182A) and a smaller one (58510182B). The latter is primarily meant for the 748 but I assume it does the trick for a 996 also.
The smaller version leaves more room underneath the seat - hopefully enough to re-position the CPU and what not.
I've got the large one myself but then again I own a 998 with its CPU placed by the battery so I didn't face the same problem as you do now.
