i went to the ducati factory at the weekend, they have 1500 1098's to be shipped out by christmas, the guy who did the tour said the waiting list was 40days, but is more like 50days due to the high demand

Chichester CMW demo bike arriving tomorrow (Tuesday) have got another one coming that is sold. so someone is right in that they're selling quick, and other ones will be arriving January and people are queued up with paid deposits, should all be sorted by feb.

They sound awesome even on the standard cans-don't know how they got them through homologation-got a real bark when you blip the throttle.

Mood: Waiting for the warmer weather.
Chris Evans on his evening radio show was asking people tonight when they knew Christmas had arrived. Someone text in and said "Christmas is coming for me tomorrow as I'm picking up my new Ducati 1098"

Spoke to my dealer and he said they had 20 on order, nearly all "S's", if you want an "S" then it would be the end of March.
Just in time to get some Spring miles in!
They've got one in on Thurs.
I'm going to have a butchers, the heart says go the wallet says No!

OK, got a call from Wilf at Motorapido today saying mine and my mates 's models have arrived so we're picking up Saturday.

Christmas will come two days early then.

Yes it's cold, yes it's a week or so off being an 07 registered bike but it aint snowing and the sun has been shining.
