I'm tempted to be very sneaky and buy a Tom Tom rider

Just found out it can be used in car with a mounting kit and Halfords are giving that away free with the unit - must look up some reviews.

Cheers guys - Frank

Hi,
Tom Tom was given the best review on the Gadget show on CH5 and i must agree mine has been brill....i have loaded the software on my PDA (IPAQ) and mounted it on a cradle in the car,This option personnaly i think is great as you have not just spent hundreds on a sole user item but have got the PDA for the rest of the time,

Cheers

No mate!.... it comes out of the speaker...you can either buy a cradle that has a GPS and speaker all in one or buy a PDA that has a built in GPS and just buy a simple cradle (£5)that sticks (Sucker) on the window and both are powered by a cable to the cigarette lighter socket. works v well
