I would caution you about the cup type. Usually the filters are on tight enough that those simply round off the edges on the filter. I have one, and it never worked. The strap type work well as already recommended. I've been down the screwdriver route as well and it once simply tore apart the casing. At that point you're down to the base and you need a tool to get the remainder off. I made a tool for that, as well.
