Great bike racing as the weather was mild, but the caterhams tried to spoil the day by dumping oil from Gerrards to Lake Esses, bit of a hold up but the bikes made up for it.

Met up with Skids, who kindley moved his car over so I could get in at Edwina`s, Cheers.

Well done to the "Mad Cow" DD race team for some entertaining moments on the first lap of there second race, trying to take each other out, I know you must beat your team mate, but not by trying to punt him off

Well done to Dan Hegerty, did well to beat Pete Baker & win his races on an R1, well done.

I'll race the Plum one year...wanted to go and watch, but a) up a ladder decorating and b) totally forgot....begger....would have been a nice break.

Kev...I'm convinced Ducati UK have missed a trick...they should have been working on a package to run a 1098 series with one of the big clubs next year, I'm sure they would have got a decent grid.

Not sure what went wrong there, Kieren was drawn 12th on the grid and I was drawn as 23rd so how I got near him I've no idea but I just couldn't let the chance of getting past him once go by (Kieran is a lot quicker than me and last time I got past him on my S4 at Donington I highsided it 2 laps later!).

We enjoyed ourselves but having stayed on for 1 practice & 2 races when many didn't we decided to call it a day rather than risk taking one or both bikes home in a biscuit tin.

Being up against 150bhp+ GSXR's etc was a bit of a shock on our 50bhp Ducati's but Keiran got 3 or 4 rice burners behind him in both races and I managed to get the better of a Honda Cornet in the second....roll on 2007!

Don't suppose anyone has photo's of my demon passing yesterday?? A rare moment that would be nice to savour and use to wind up my team mate for a few months until racing starts again that is...
