Hi can anyone help
monster 600 reverse gearing is that done by just connecting
the gear change leaver direct to the engine

You can do that.
Or if it don't fit then turn the control lever upside down. But that might not leave enough clerance between the pedal and the link rod so you'd have to go with the direct connection.
