| I've always used hairspray to get my grips on - spray loads on the inside, the excess gets squeezed out and the rest evaporates pretty quickly (just make sure that they are straight before it dries or you'll get twisted grip syndrome).
If (like me) you have no hair, prepare yourself for odd looks down at Boots when you ask for the hairspray section...
