I can answer this one, I Think. It is common for race KR1S`s to nip up while going round Gerrards at Mallory, theory is that due to the position of the fuel tap (on the left side of the tap, the fact that it is a diaphram type tap, ie there is no OFF position, works by the carbs sucking, and that the hose to the left carb is shorter than the hose to the right carb , Wait for it-----------Fuel starvation to the left cyinder, no 2 stroke oil getting in, it nips up
