But surely if you have the right chip (made specifically for your set up) you should improve performance with a full 50mm without even requiring an ECU modificaition.
From all I heard it is indeed not recommended going for more than 50mm on the 916 but up to 50mm should be the right stuff. I may keep the 45mm to 50mm set up that I have at the moment as well.
Anybody's got experience on that? And may be a recommendation for the right chip??
Note: the 916 is a BP not SP ... and may well become a 955 one day...
