Some of the DSC troops tried this some time ago....arranging a trip round the UK with a Pudsey Bear for Children in Need, but it was too much like hard work and it never came off. I think it's CiN time again, try getting a pack from the BBC and pledging some dosh, might get yourself and the DSC on the telly! 900 odd miles in a day in UK traffic will mean you'll have to 'make steady progress' I suspect, so not sure you'll keep up Mav  Nearer the time, send a U2U to those interested with the route and you'll no doubt find a few of us keeping you company for a few miles in our individual regions.
