| If this is the first annual service (ie 6,000) I have been lead to believe by my dealer it is possible to get what is termed a "short service" and still be within the rules of warranty on such a low mielage machine. Basically it is the service minus the valve clearance checks which are actually mileage dependant (providing they aren't 1,200 track miles) and should be done at 6,000 miles. For this short service on my 999s I recently paid £156.00 (but provided my own oil 'cos Im fussy.) |
