| This is just a thought from someone who was a bit upset by the aggressive reply to one of his first postings and would have not posted again if it hadn't been for a conversation with a member on another group.Would it not be possible to show ones DSC membership number alongside the other details in the left hand colum. At least then any newcomer who thought that a poster's attitude was " A bit off" would know if that person was a DSC member or not
Not only did the fact that I was sworn at in the reply to my first posting put me off posting again but it made me feel that I wanted no more to do with the club itself. In my job I am sworn at by the public most days but at least I am paid for it. i really don't want the same experiance in my social life
Fortunately for me I was persuaded to give it another go for which I am grateful. a big thank you to the member who persuaded me. You know who you are.
I am sorry to go on so long but as a relative newcomer I am in a position to know how it feels coming on to the board for the first time  |
