New slant on things

Just popped into the garage to check the bike again. It is on the paddock stand, so I gave the rear wheel a spin. The same clunking noise, then nothing. Had a play around and it seems, that there is a point when the wheel will move on its own, without the sproket and chain moving. The clunk is when they catch up, so to speak. I also noticed some movement in the wheel, so, a thinking that maybe it hasnt been put on correctly? Any ideas before i remove the wheel and have a look
