best thing to do is go on the old message board and have a look at the old threads about chips.i have fitted 50mm blueflames to my 748r and it is a bit fluffy low down 3500-4000rpm,am having ducati performance chip fitted at moment(in for service+newcamshaft/rockers @6k service!!!).will see what difference that makes as blueflame supplied me with a casoli moto chip which said 748sps on it but was assured by casoli moto that it would do the 748r,it ran like a bag of sh$7e,fitted standard chip it ran a lot better,so will let you know after i get bike back . .JHP chips or FIM seem to get good reviews as well.ps buy the chip yourself and fit it,just remember to earth yourself before you remove the chip.hope this helps
