Dear webteam
One of the technicians in the above establishment told me this himself. The practice is not illegal, it is a loophole in the law. As long as the exhaust is road worthy (not falling apart) and the tester can see no visible markings stating the silencers EU legality/illegality it is passed. They do not test for decibels or emissions.

I'm just trying to save people the hassle of changing the cans for no reason.

This is not a backstreet bike shop this a major dealer and if they say so, I will do.

Is this a problem? as this is open knowledge.
