Guess wot...? Exactly the same has just happened to me...! I work in Nigeria, so away for a month at a time. The bike hasn't been riden for about 6 months due to the .....terrible weather up here in Aberdeen and me being away. It has always been connected to an optimate 3. I tried to start it today and it wouldn't start ! It did however start first time with a jump start from a car. Looks like I'll need another another battery....and maybe a different trickle charger. (The battery is only 2 years old and the bike has only done 2500 miles...!!!)

and ... THERE WAS LIFE!

Had the bike going last night BUT .... the PC 680 I bought for it is around 5mm too wide so I'm having to mess around with some cable ties to sort me out

At least it's going and I should be able to get to Cadwell. Although I will be down one mirror as I snapped the screw for it when I dropped it. I'll have it with me though if someone has a screw? (Behave, you know what I mean )
