I decided to go for the 748R simply because my experience of buying modded vehicles is that they are difficult to re-sell, awkward to insure and they also sometimes come complete with a bundle of problems. Not to mention that the bike hadn't been serviced since 2004 (although it had only done 4K since then), so that would have meant an immediate and expensive trip to the workshop.

Right! Now I'm off to ebay to try to find some Helibars and a pair of carbon airtubes as a "settling in" present for the Supersonic Canary II (Supersonic Canary I was my yellow turbocharged SWB 280ZX).
