| Don't condemn the sender just yet. Common problem with these is water ingress shorting out the circuit and bringing on the light. Remove the electrical connection plug and blow out any residual water, squirt some water repellant in the cavity such as WD40 as well as on the electrical plug itself. Replace and try again. If the sender is OK all should be well and the light will go out. |
