Dont you just hate it when you give the passing biker a nod and he/she ignores it, and then you think "right, i`m not gonna do it next time, then the next one to pass nods you and you quickly nod back but its to late and they didnt see it, so now they are thinking "tosser i`m not doing the next one" so the whole process starts over........
It's funny, but I get fewer nods on the 999 than I do on my 750 Sport. But regardless, I continue to nod and do the "invisible wink", as I am an ambassador for Ducati and must present a friendly, approachable face to my less fortunate, non-Ducatisti brethern
but do you nod at people on sports 600s wearing flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt?
i dont get any nods when on my 400 wearing my work clothes but when in full leathers, everyone nods. probably because they think im a right dumbass riding without my gear on.another "Squid" as the yanks say.
I always give a nod - used to always get return nods when I was on my R6, but not from Duc riders! Only got a few on Friday though, which was a bit crap. Jealousy is a miserable thing!!
I always nod but don't get too many back when I'm riding into the city in London. I wasn't sure if it was just an english thing (always get nods in Aus but never owned a Duc - my last bike there was a VTR 1000) or a Duc thing.
I wish I had 10p for every time someone has come up to me and said I'm about to throw my cam chain!!! Umm, ever heard of a dry clutch?
I tend to nod at every one or any many cases do the leg wave thing as commuting on the M20 every day I see many of our European cousins. The one big exception is scooters but I gues you would have guessed that from my user name
