Sorry I should have said the engine turns over fine. And I have taken the plugs out and earthed them to the frame and found there is no spark. But I would have thought if the earth was dirty none of the rest of the electrics would work either? Sorry not used to working on fuel injected bikes. Thanks Gary
Could be numerous reasons for no spark, does the fuel pump run when you turn on the ignition, if not suspect the Ignition relay or the fuse feeding it as this provides power to the pump and the coils. Has the ECU got its earth eyelet connected, is the pick-up from the crank properly connected, has it been removed at all and if so is it correctly gapped
Hi the fuel pump works fine and I have cleaned the connector from the alternator and the earth at the back of the engine is clean. Is there another earth that I may have missed? Gary
Went through all the contacts and connectors today what a mess cleaned everything and it started but I think its going to need a new battery. Any one now where to find a cheep gel battery from? Thanks for all the help Gary
