The officer on patrol is the tool that is used by those higher up the food chain, we need to apply pressure to the decision makers.

methinks you work in a perfect policing state, have a trip up to Teeside, Geordieland or some parts of Yorkshire mate, might change your opinion on yer buddies in blue.

We all know that you work under testing conditions and are driven from above, but please take the blue tinted specs off ;-)

Can you apply the need to change the narrow minded views, sensationalisms and generalisations to everyone then?......

Get a grip, dry your eyes and knuckle down to do the best you can at your level.....the same as most of us.

I've seen sights and experienced things in conflict that would turn the stomach of many a mortal sole, I don't get upset at every dig or comment against Bliars war, nor do i feel the need to correct every person on their misguided and ill advised views.

I do take solace in the fact that I and my team do the best that we can when we are called upon. I also know that my morals are sound and without question. I sleep well at night, I do not worry how I am percieved.

However.......my insurance (through Ducati Ins) has risen from £187 to £450 per year with just a small change in vehicle.
No convictions (in 23 years) no claims (in 23 years)
Apparently I now need a Thatcham approved Cat1 Immobiliser to help drain my battery :-/

This thread has got out of hand, interesting reading though.

Point one, I totally agree with, Insurance Co's are scum bags. Always on the take. Unregulated swindlers, and it's legal.

Point two, the little scotes that cause these issues should be treated more ruthlessly by our pathetic juducial system. Or remove them of their liberty..... permanantly!

My sympathy's, hope you get sorted.
