froggy. the race supplies ones are light but you will need monster ones as the ss ones bolt to a different position. get the monster ones he does. we use them but they go onto a bit of durual (sp?) ally which is light but strong so i have drilled them so that i could move them back. but try them std to start with. get rid of other heavy brackets like the one that holds your rear shock canister too all things like that add up mate
Cheers Al'
Yeah I was thinking about the Monster ones, I know frames differ from the SS ones.
Monsters are defo not race bikes, but they look a lot cooler
please tell that to our riders mate over the past few years. 2005 andyj domski mark hill 2006 andyj otei bones 2007 hawk class a winner & bones class b 3rd 2008 clint jp runner up and bones jp 8th 2009 sam in jp just got 3 podiums out of 4 races at last meeting.
so monsters are not race bikes?
just lose that ohlins bracket and you will go faster
as did David Checa on the 94 bike, and the bike Plater is sharing crashed out of the lead abot 40mins into the race, rejoining in 29th but some back to back sessions by Plater got them back up with the top ten. Still a frw Brits out there in various teams
