You both Know my lil-ol 996 is going to cane your 848's @ Cadwell like She did at Benson.

Sod the Club thing Paul, just think of it as Us Hants crew out for a laugh like we always have. I dont go nowhere near the paper/membership/club owners type thing anymore. Dont care about any of that anymore. Meeting with Berks/Ox/Hants peeps is my Club, actually scrap that, meeting with any Rider in any Club for a coffee and ride is my club

Agree with your points Paul, we need new blood up at the helm to push new ideas and get this club back on track. Now get that form in and get up to Cadwell

Paul,

You will never know unless you send in that form! I suppose it boils down to who wants the bragging rights most?

Another good post Chris B. Comunication is the key.

Bradders, your post makes me think of the old days which I'd like to move on from. Chris says there have been progress, so I'm looking forward to hearing what these are and how whoever is in the MT (old or new) are going to run the club going forward for the good of the members.

oh and bradders, look at the membership fee as simply the cost of going on the best 2 trackdays of the year with a bunch of mates on the best track around with a load of Ducatis, then if you don't want to be a member going forward, simply don't, (then do the same next year). See ya there dude

Well something positive must be occurring as it's the first DSC post I've read for a while and it's the first post I've replied to in nigh-on 6 months.

Tim (Rattler) hit it in the head for me when he said it "should be a positive experience".

Visiting the DSC forum no longer became that for me with all the griping, non-movement heels-in mentality etc, etc. For the first time in 10 years I didn't renew my membership and that to me shouts volumes.

I'll be another one watching intently what goes on. I still have my friends that I've made, and I still have the memories of DSC times good.

Add to that I have my Ducati back together again so fingers well and truly crossed..........."the lurve" can return to this club along with the membership.

A nice read.

Simply put, you get what you give, so the more positive inputs the better. Whatever they are, rideouts, attendance, DD, organising something, etc.

I'm sure there are loads of people in the club who enjoy doing stuff, to see the enjoyment that it gives others, in every sense.

To not do something, just to try and see something fail, classic double negative is a shame. Look forward please.

I'll stay a member, even from Aus, because I got a lot out of my membership, regardless of the MT??, and I will continue to benefit and be involved. All for a twenty, which is $50....strewth!!
