Shazaam: you should get a job in marriage counselling!! Getting people to talk to each other etc...well done!!

Jools: thanks for the really kind offer, before I take you up on it I'd like to check one thing: - does the T8 clutch m/cyl have a remote reservoir like a 9*6 or is it an integrated black one like on early SS?
My preference would be to troubleshoot with the same standard of part so that I can get a good correlation and eliminate the various factors that may be influencing the problem.

Cheers,

Update.........

Jools very kindly lent me a master cylinder which I fitted today.
Went for another serious test ride and everything was fine.

So..........refitted my own m/cyl after cleaning it up with brake cleaner etc and making sure it worked nicely.

Went for ANOTHER serious test ride and....my one seems to be working fine!

So I rekon I must have had some cak or air in the system the other day which has now been sorted by swapping the m/cyls.

Basically, thanks to Shazaam and Jools I have sorted it out.

Top guys, beers all round!

I rekon I'll invest in some new plates though to replace the mix of worn SPS plates and not quite as worn 748 ones that are in there at the moment.

Cheers,

R
