finally finished fitting up the new rear brake set up and disc

really pleased with the 'look', it bled up really easily, swapped the rear brake lever for a corse style one from Bungi, and even had enuff time to fit the DP foam race seat pad before we headed over to Doogalman & Florences BBQ

Hopefully the sun will be out again tomorrow and I can go and test it out

so thanks to Doogalman .......I didn't just finish up 2007 building Ikea furniture

We managed, not without with some gnashing of teeth & a couple of bolts made of 'formaggio' to fit my Magnesium headlamp casing

very nice it looks too !

I even made up the carbon mirrors later

So here's to my New Years resolution of fitting the stuff I've bought instead of just keeping it in boxes

Oh yeah, and getting out and riding more in '08

cheers Doog's !!

'Felice Anno Nuovo' to one and all !

Sharpy,

How long did it take you to fit the Magnesium Headlight bucket? Can you re use the bolts from the standard housing? I have the bucket just waiting to get some time off to fit it!

A lot longer than we thought ! LOL
You can use the original bolts, if you can get them out without them rounding off as they are made of cheese !!!!

Couple of hours I think in the end, ACF50 it before you put it on, inside and out to avoid corrosion too

Did your housing come in two pieces? can you fit one side at a time?
