Anybody know a ball park figure to replace a zip in a leather jacket?

Thanks.

cobra leathers
hi all
Sad news about cobra leathers, Sally retired at the end of April after a long an successful career as a leather seamstress and electronics engineer. i,ve had both my jeans and my race suit altered so that i could wear my boots under them ala Rossi, and she done an excellent job. she told me that she has sold the business as a going concern but don,t know nything about the new owner or the quality of their work???

Nine Lives have lost some custom cos they've lost some staff ...
I've had some excellent work done on my Race leathers and Sue's 2-piece leathers by 'Hill 4 Leather' who are much easier to get to than Nine Lives :

I used hideout, They took 4 weeks, and then I had to go and collect them the day before the race at mallory because they hadn't done them in time to post them, then they charged me £100. Not recomended,

the work is very good, can't knock them there, Not sure about price or service.

Hill4leather seconded by me.. we've had a few jobs done by them for the race team and top quality and turn-around time is excellent. Really nice chaps who run the company.

Cougar Leathers is a new company just set up by the head seamstress of Carrera Leathers, Christine, as Martin has closed Carrera down, she is in Shepreth, Herts.......and I can vouch for the quality of her work, she was at Hideout before Carrera.....

After work today I'm off to pick my leathers up from repair.
I got a call Yesterday (Monday) Morning at 9:30 saying they were ready, that's what I call a quick service as I only dropped them in Friday afternoon after work. They asked when I needed them for and I just said ASAP.
I'll find out the cost and quallity of the work when I pick them up.
