What about laptops?

My laptop runs really hot, every so often the fan goes berserk...

Are they as easy to take the bottom off?

just give it a blast with an air line.

I've used my laptop at a number of enduro meetings this year, and the amount of dust it sucks in during the day is unbelievable.

Same goes for pet hairs under the keys in the keyboard. The amount of hairs that came out of mine, you'd have thought the dog had been using it

You shouldn't use a hoover inside a pc as they can generated electrostatic discharge that can knacker your pc. Best to blow dust out whilst holding the hoover nozzle in the other hand to suck up the airborne dust.
