Hello are the plugs you have, taper seat or have a sealing washer??
It could well be that you are using a happy shopper type of socket, sorry for the analogy, but this is the case in some cheap tools.
If the plugs you have purchased, ressemble the ones that you have extracted, there really should not be an issue.
