Wotzit worth???

I have a 98(R) ST2 with around 11k genuine miles. Few goodies, can's, panniers, scottoiler etc. Have barely used it since the 996 came along so have decided to let her go to hopefully a good home.

I fully realise the ST2 is now a bit of an ugly duckling compared to the 4 and 4S, but it must have some value. Anybody advise me what to ask for her?

A friend of mine had the same bike (R plate) minus the panniers but with a couple of thousand more miles. He was struggling to get 2K for it.
I part exchanged my 1998 ST2 with panniers (15,000 miles) about 18 months ago and got £2500 for it.
Not sure if this helps or not??

Last August I got £2.5K trade in on my '97 ST2 ( panniers and 24000 miles )

Looking on www.motoprices.co.uk the average selling price is £2,995. Given that these prices are after the dealer has made his markup, anything between 2K and 2.5K seems likely.

Just had a look at Ducati Manchesters site, they have a 1997 one with 12,800 miles for £3895!!!!
