Great to meet Nicki today, sounds like the road 748 will soon be a track bike as Nicki has caught the track bug big time. Tried to persuade her to come to the DSC days next year. Lovely rider...watch out boys

Thanks WeeJohnyB...and thanks for the instruction...best I've ever had! Actually paid attention to what I was doing and one little correction had me go from mid-pack to front of the novice group in one session!!! Now I just need to get the 748 out on track and hope it works as well for me as that R6 did on saturday!

But no, it's not a yellow one Chris, it's black carbon fibre with a red tank...and I might as well take those mirrors off...!

Thanks for the feedback Nicki, always good to receive, especially comments like yours. You looked totally different the next time I saw you - relaxed, comfortable, in control, 'in the bike', smoother....what a difference. I still don't understand the advice you were previously given.

No, it kind of makes sense...if my arms were longer and I was 6 foot tall...but it was making me stiff and uncomfortable!

Am hoping to return to Oulton in Dec on the 748 if I can get transport...but am booked into Mallory early Jan...gonna be a bit chilly though I reckon!
