Club race calendars only ever finalise about now, but you get very little in the way of 'proper' confirmation until the circuits have sent out the contracts to the clubs.
So ... I don't know about you, but I've spotted a bit of disruption in travel and postal services ... so I'm guessing that they may be a little late this year getting the contracts out
However, it is the same old same old every year, and we just have to be patient while the national championships decide they really have made up their minds by signing _their_ contracts with the circuits.

And another thing ...
have you noticed how the dynamic new new era website has been updated with the amazing new information about a completely new programme of classes and championships to be announced before christmas ... not
If they havnt decided what they're doing yet, we've got no chance of being told anything 'final'.

But their Forum is more up to date, trouble is when I access it from this PC my Internet Explorer locks up and then needs restarting

Hadnt spotted that skids - cant say I ever bother going there as I hate the format of that kind of site.
Anyway - having looked - whats so new about what they are proposing ?

BRIDGESTONE/NEW ERA FORMULA XTREME CHAMPIONSHIP

For solos 600 and up to 675cc - no restrictions - slick tyres allowed.

The DUCATI 848 SERIES

For riders of Ducati 848 machines

DUCATI DESMO DUE CHAMPIONSHIP

In two classses A and B

The NEW ERA FORMULA JUNIOR

For Formula 400 - CB 500 - Hornets & Supermoto

NEWCOMERS CHAMPIONSHIPS

There is also a Newcomers Class in each Championship listed.


NEW ERA TWO-STROKE CHAMPIONSHIP including POST CLASSIC classes as per the TZ Club

Solos up to 750cc age restriced as follows:
70 Modern era
125 Modern era - inc 125
Production
250 Class 1 up to 1981
Class 2 from 82 to 1985
Class 3 from 86 to 1990
Class 4 from 1990 onwards
350 Class 1 up to 1978
Class 2 1979 onwards
375-750 no age restrictions
250/350 classes 1 to 3 may not run with upside down forks.

BRIDGESTONE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

Allcomers Solos from 600 up to 1300cc
Slick Tyres - no machine restrictions

The JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

in separate classes.
70 to 690 but F Xtreme not eligible

SUNDAY 25TH APRIL SILVERSTONE TOWCESTER TROPHY CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND ROUND 4

MONDAY 31ST MAY MALLORY PARK MASTER OF MALLORY CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 5

WEEKEND 10/11TH JULY SNETTERTON THE ENDURO TROPHY CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS 6/7

WEEKEND 21/22 AUGUST PEMBREY THE RED LION TROPHY CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS 8/9

When you look at the classes, there's not a lot that you cant race in the way of Solos
With Formula Extreme probably being one of the target classes to get full grids.
